About me…
I've been an occupational therapist for over 45 years, and more than half of that time I've specialized in lymphedema and lipedema treatment. I began the study of energy medicine over 30 years ago, which led to a master's degree in this field. This has added a profound dimension to my treatments. As a researcher and educator, I have given presentations at conferences all over the world. I have been an adjunct professor in the Doctoral Physical Therapy program at the University of the Pacific for eight years, developing and teaching a curriculum to student therapists specifically about lymphedema, lipedema, and fibrosis. I am now recently retired from my outpatient clinical practice, and my husband and I are embracing the van life, traveling throughout the United States and beyond.
In 2020, when our clinic was temporarily shut down due to Covid, I started treating patients via telehealth. I love this model of accessible care, and helping people in their own homes. After my clinic re-opened, I launched a telehealth practice in order to share my expertise, problem solving and compassion with people world-wide.
