Telehealth services are not reimbursable by health insurance, but may be reimbursed by some health care spending accounts.
What is Telehealth?
Telehealth is consultation and treatment over the telephone or internet. All of the services listed are available via telehealth. A typical session might include assessment, problem solving, education, instruction in and upgrading home treatment and even visual assessment and measurements. This service is not reimbursable under insurance, and may be reimbursable by some health care spending accounts. I have been performing this type of consultation for over 10 years.
Is person and hands-on treatment available?
Due to the COVID-19 virus, in-person treatment is available only at St Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, California on a very limited basis.
